Where M8A marks are lost
M8A has only 6 chapters, but they cover structured products and derivatives, and the last one is case studies. Its first three chapters carry the same titles as M9A's: structured products, their risks, and derivatives. You get 50 questions in an hour and need 35 right, so payoff questions have to come quickly. A wrong answer costs nothing extra, so never leave one blank.

SCI charges S$109.00 for a weekday sitting before 5pm and S$127.53 after 5pm if you register through an SCI or IBF member company, or S$130.80 and S$149.33 if you do not. Every figure includes GST and the registration fee, weekend sittings cost the after-5pm rate, and a retake costs the same as a first attempt.
