Where M9 marks are lost
M9 puts 17 chapters into one 100-question paper, from how premiums are set to wills and trusts. The policy types are the part everyone expects. The marks also sit in chapter 9's ILP unit sums and in the legal chapters at the back: the insurance contract, agency, income tax, and nominations, wills and trusts. You need 70 right answers. A wrong answer costs nothing extra, so never leave one blank.

SCI charges S$109.00 for a weekday sitting before 5pm and S$127.53 after 5pm if you register through an SCI or IBF member company, or S$130.80 and S$149.33 if you do not. Every figure includes GST and the registration fee, weekend sittings cost the after-5pm rate, and a retake costs the same as a first attempt.
